WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A REIKI SESSION

  • You will lay comfortably on your back, fully clothed. Reiki involves no touch or just a light touch on the body.

    During a session, energy flows from the practitioner’s hands to the receiver. Some people feel a warm sensation or a peaceful state of calmness, many fall into a deep sleep. Some people report physical sensations while others undergo emotional shifts. Some visualize colors, shapes, or images, akin to a lucid dream.

    The practitioner will then place their hands on or near the receiver’s body in a series of hand positions around the head, shoulders, stomach, feet, and sometimes other extremities. Each hand placement will be held over a specific area for 3 to 10 minutes at a time, with a full treatment lasting between 45 and 90 minutes.

  • Reiki is beneficial to almost everyone, but especially for someone who is in physical or emotional pain, experiencing stress and is looking for inner peace, calm and relaxation. It’s for anyone who would like to feel more energetically balanced in their physical, mental, and emotional body.

  • During a session, you may feel heat, tingling or a pulsing feel where the energy is released. Some participants just feel a deep sense of relaxation or calm.

    After a session, clients often feel freer, peaceful, calm and sleep well in the upcoming nights. Some clients experience a deep emotional release while others fall asleep and wake up refreshed. Clients also say they feel lighter, and that physically their body feels more free, they have less pain, feel a sense of release, and feel more grounded.
