Why Should You go on a Yoga Retreat?

You are Worth the Investment…These words are on a post it note on my desk.  When I went on my first yoga retreat, I felt so guilty for spending money on me, I looked for every reason to justify why going on a retreat was going to be worth it. These same types of thoughts didn't cross my mind though when I was paying for years of camp for my kids, or planning family vacations, for piano lessons and tae kwon do. Those things felt like necessities for growth and development,  for building relationships.  But, wasn't I just as valuable, wasn't my growth or building a stronger relationship with myself also necessary?    I didn't understand any of this until after that first retreat. The necessity of investing in yourself. The shifts and transformations that occur on retreat.  I promise that you are worth the investment…in your growth, healing, and rebuilding your most important relationship…the one with yourself.
